No drain plug

Get your self a 3" core bit and go to town. I would probably just free hand it, but if you aren't comfortable drilling holes with a grinder, you might want to make a template. Drilling thru concrete…

What's your question? Setting cultured stone is simple.

Remik, you are probably right. I know for a fact that Breton S.p.a (patent holders and inventors of Quartz i.e. Silestone, Caesarstone well you know Quartz) is already making slabs of concrete. They already have a retrofit that can be added to their…

Dave, you should probably tell everyone that you are also just testing this stuff and it hasn't been proven in time and durability. If you have tested it for this then disregard. But I thought you had just started playing around with it. What worri…

Bro I am with everybody! Wait until you see for yourself. Don't stress over the funk! My experience is that the homeowner freaks over nothing and most often the tiny things in life.Especially the countertops after spending a little coin on them. I…

Thanks Dave! I am going to experiment as well. I have a container load of Customs Polyblend grouts from the tile side of the business. Many colors to play with. If this works and could be tested for density, hardness and durability then this could…

Another note, you could try Tenax Tepox. We use it to stain unresined edges on stone. I am going to try it on concrete. Oh yeah wear gloves!

Are you brushing the face coat (mist coat) on or spraying? Or just straight up mixing scc and pouring it in? Pics would help!

You can use a jack and a hacksaw blade. Just becareful and not lift the cabinets off the ground ;) I have used guitar "E" string in the past but can be difficult. Usually a hacksaw blade is enough.

Benjamin I have the Fein and Harbor Freight. The HF mulit tool works just as well, but hte blades are what tend to be the Achilles heel on it. The rivets that hold it together break off after a while. Still worth it though. My favorite tool of choi…

Man I was just thinking about this two days ago. I want to use glass of randoms sizes 1/4, 1/8, 1/2 in my GFRC countertops, but was trying to figure how to do it without blowing it all out as I do my mist coat. Then there was the edge problem. I th…

You can get the jest of it by youtube, or ordering Gores dvd, but if you really want to understand it, IMHO you need to go visit and take a class from CCI or Brandon Gore. You can learn more face to face than you ever could watching a vid.
