Rich,
I'm still perfecting my spray application, I have good days and bad. About the rolling, I saw Bob roll a piece that was about 12sqft, you have to be real, and I mean real quick, he did it in about 45seconds and that was it. It turned out lo...
I've been EAP for a few months now, I really like the finish when I get it right - I'm still perfecting my spraying. Are you guys using the Performance Boost? and what size tip are you using?
We've been contacted by them numerous times - I have made it pretty clear that we are doing just fine with our own grassroots marketing and SEO efforts, but they are persistent. At this point, I don't need to be paying someone for a plain old tire...
yext is a complete scam they called me up and told me Nick from "its concrete"(also a member of the forum) told them i would be interested which he did not I called up and asked him myself. This company lies to get you to join! What they did was b...
Hello all,
This is my first reply on forum. I signed up for YEXT Countertops in August of 2009. A gentleman from New York called me, walked me through their whole website, explained how each call is recorded and assured me I would only pay $10.00...
I recently bought a turbine HVLP, make and model are Wagner Softspray 2600 with a #3 projector kit. I've used it a few time to spray EAP. My 1st few attempts were great but now I think I'm over thinking it to much. I consider myself beginner so ca...
You are right. Foam Roller is terrible. besides the solvent will react with the foam roller and give you really bad results too. John has the right idea. low nap and delint with tape before rolling. Call SouthEast Floor Coatings for prices of the ...
I did my first two part coating today. polytop5050. I found it super hard to apply. How much $ is flexmar? I used a foam roller to apply and it turned. Out terrible! Tons of bubbles. Is there a failsafe way to apply without spraying?
Dave,
I use play sand but keep in mind that depending on where you get your sand from makes a huge difference. started off with about 6 or 8 different sands and tested them all. I couldn't find #30 but could find fine silica which the manufacture...

I did not have the same problems with the flexmar polyaspartic. From what I can tell it is the only true Polyaspartic out there. I have sprayed several countertops with Flexmar through an old cupgun and it works great. it is tough as nails and ver...
Yip, I do it similar to how Brandon has described. The only difference is that I don't use anything to hold the foam in place. My backcoat I spread in the mold in layers until I get to the desired thickness, 1" in this case. I then set the foam in...
Hey Philip I just started using the EAP from surface 519 and love the look that it is giving me as far as concrete enhancement goes, but I'm having a hard time getting it down without a million teeny tiny pin holes. Some of them are from little holes in my concrete that you can't even see until after you have sprayed but it is also doing it where there are not any holes. I am diluting it 50% with DA but I am still getting the same results. Any Helpful tips would be great.
Hey Philip, do you have any more photos of some of your other work? That white counter you made for your brother is still by far the nicest thing I have seen! Do you usually use plexiglass for your molds? If not, how do you compare the finish between that and the other materials you have used?
