You can find all sorts of amazing inlays. If you're interested in ammonites, search for "sliced ammonites".
A site I have used in the past that has a very large selection of all kinds of stuff is www.greatsouth.net They have minerals and inlay type pieces tons of stuff to choose from. Much cheaper than cheng stuff approx half what he charges for the ammon…
Cheng sells them too, plus you may want to check local museums or jewlers. Our Museum of Nature has a great collection of fossils and amonites for sale. I should check prices.

Look under 'sliced ammonites' and choose the ones you like.
The other fossils on this website are pretty impressive, too, although most are unsuitable for inlays.

I have a client that wants a few neat sea shell inserts in her countertop. whats the best place to get them and/ or what is the best type to use?
Black tea, steeped for a good bit, mist, allow to dry, then clean off with water and a scotchbrite.
i have some white portland samples and i want to do some tea stainings, what is the best method for doing this.
