Just wondering for those of you that are using fabric for their sink plugs etc, are you using fiberglass, resin, and bondo? or are you just using resin to stiffen the fabric?

Not trying to jump on anyone's wagon here. I do find Mr. Mune to be an asset to this forum, like so many others on here. Their is a lot of inspirational works of art on here and it just keeps getting better and better. Keep up the good work Dave!

If you build an "L" shaped dam insert you could use SCC and still have the 3/4" counter with a 1.5" drop edge. Just make the horizontal leg on your dam long enough to provide enough pressure to hold the vertical column at 1.5".

Thanks for the input. I do think that just scc the whole thing is the best option, for this particular piece. It's just a slab. Again thanks, just needed to hear it from someone else.

"Weigh" your options :) If you SCC the whole thing it will be heavier but most likely easier work, and at 16 sq ft @ 1.5” that would be pretty manageable. Spraying with a back coat and then pouring your SCC is more work but could save you some weigh…
