One source of pre-sliced aggregates I've been using are the ones made for tile. You peal them off the backing and hot glue them to the form. Mark C

Try using a jig with diamond tile saw. I still have 10 digits to work with.

Tile saw, cut in half. Then sand perfetly flat on a sanding table.

Most people just cut a bunch on a tile saw. Maybe 1/4 thick pieces or so I guess. Mark Celebruski has some photos on his page I think.
