slow season busy season?

what is typically everyones busiest time of year and when is your slowest? I am finishing up a couple jobs but theres not much on the horizon, seems like every year february and march are always slow for me.

Over the last 3 years February has been our slowest time.
We usually catch up with leftover work in January and then people aren't calling for templating until March.

I think it has something to do with the natural construction cycle, where people aren't tearing up their kitchen or bath until after the new year.

I had a hunch that when there was a warm day around Valentine's we would get lots of calls. That has been true for the last few years but this year is different. We have stayed very busy right through christmas and new years and we had lots of calls in early February.... Of course it was 60 degrees here in Baltimore in Late january and early february.

January February March and April have been my busiest months because in my area people want there projects complete before the nice weather hits , Most are summer homes they use from June til September before they leave for winter again. Its Feast or Famine. Currently have 3 projects going.
