Concrete Countertop Forums

The Social Network for Professional Concrete Artisans.

Good afternoon everyone. I guess I need to start from the beginning. My wife and I started planning a kitchen remodel and discovered the wonderful world of concrete. Being a little artistically inclined, the decision was made for me to "look into" concrete countertops. That is where the artist in me took over. I'm going in a couple of weeks to the Buddy Rhodes basic DIY class. There is so much I have found and researched, I'm not sure where to begin. I guess the first place would be with my budget, but if anyone out there would be willing to share some info on equipment that I may need to get started, I would appreciate it. Thanks for all the insight on the forums.

Interesting that it's mainly those with their own forums that are mourning the loss of CCF, crying about the people that have come and gone.  Cry for your own stagnate forums please.    Spare us your sadness and leave us to the enthusiastic artists like Collette.   If your just here to be negative, make like a tree.

The concrete countertop forums are deffinately for the concrete artist.  Not the concrete marketers.   I sometimes think it's better to discriminate with the advertisers than the members.

And, it's rather unethical and unfair to spout your dislike of ccf.  Perhaps, I should spout my dislikes of your products more often.  Which I have never done.  But, my responsibility belongs to CCF and money can be refunded and then we have no need to treat your products and services with respect.

Chris,  I'm sorry you have to see this.  There are people here that will guide you in the right direction on CCF.  Right now we are in the process of letting some know that we can exist with mutual respect or we will fill the void and move on without regrets.

More pour less talk is always a good solution.

The best knowledge comes from experience.

Wow, your welcome, thad and remix.
This is going to stop.

I've read this thread 4 times, i could not capture the reasons of the conflict. I will read again.... for now, what i see is that  a social network is like a familly with different members that act like "personnage" and we got to take time to know these "personnage" before making conclusions. Some of people "personnage" give real great eye opening advise here. Are they negative? I personnaly don't think so. We got to listen twice more than we talk...
