Floating Tenon at Stove Aprons

Hey Gang,

I wanted to share this technique that we use in house for the front aprons at stove tops. Usually there's not much cabinet left there to sit on. So, we create a mortise in the concrete and then fit a plastic tenon between. We leave about 1/16" of slop for the tenon to fit in with adjustment and silicon. Works well for us.
